Position Objective:
This position will assist the Sr. Engineer - Track in the design and evaluation of track projects including switch and interlocking systems and creating plans for track maintenance and construction. Assist in the analysis of data to prioritize maintenance and Capital work. The programs shall maintain the track infrastructure in a state of good repair throughout Metro-North Railroad (MNR) territory.

Employees driving company vehicles must complete defensive driver training once every three years for current MNR drivers; or within 180 days of hire or transfer for an employee entering an authorized driving position.
