Position Objective:
This position supports the Deputy Director PTC Office in all aspects of the documentation, tracking design, and development, ensuring the system maintains the operation and configuration of the PTC Office subsystem. The Office subsystem includes the Primary Control Center (PCC), Backup Control Center (BCC), and Remote Office Workstation locations. The PTC Office is a critical component of the system designed to ensure compliance with the 2008 Rail Safety Act. This position will provide the interface between the PTC System Integrator (SI) and Metro-North during system development. Upon completion of the PTC project, this position will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continued engineering development of the PTC Office.
