Responsibility:
Under direction Supervises a group of subordinate supervisors engaged in the supervisory work of the installation, maintenance and repair of industrial heating and air conditioning units. Prepares work schedules, assigns jobs, and checks work and reports on its progress. Keeps records and prepares reports. Drives a motor vehicle. May perform inspection work on new equipment and material at manufacturing plants. May order materials and equipment and arrange for their transportation and storage.
Education and Experience:
Five years of full-time satisfactory experience acquired in the last ten years in the electromechanical field specializing in the maintenance, installation and repair of industrial, commercial, or domestic type air conditioning units and/or heating systems; at least one year of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.
License Requirement
A motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York with no restrictions.
