COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $87,951 – $124,834 (Grade E, 571 Points)
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for the coordination and management of administrative, personnel and budget activities for the Customer Service & Operations Support (CSOS) Unit. The incumbent will maintain a systematic approach in supporting the unit's traffic checking program; manage the allocation of resources and procurements and ensure that the unit efficiently and effectively meets all traffic checking demands. The incumbent is also responsible to administrate and manage the Department vehicle pool (vehicles’ fuel usage, inspection, monitor all EZ Pass toll transactions, NYCDOT Traffic Violation summons). Manage the TCs Medical Health Benefits processing; Coordinate with the Law Department’s representatives concerning all records retention matters for the unit; oversees CSOS’ Equipment and telecommunications operation; Facility coordination such as manage the unit's leased facilities directly working with NYCT’s Space Management and the MTA Real Estate department concerning all tenant/landlord matters, office build up and relocation. This position is responsible to assist to manage both, the General Order Support and Customer Service Coordination as well as work closely with other departments and agencies to provide best service for customers travel during service diversion.
EDUCATION
Baccalaureate degree required, major field of study Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering and total number of years’ experience eight (8) of which three (3) years must be a managerial/supervisory capacity: or
A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience
DESIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of NYCT operations, operating rules, and policies.
Working Familiarity of NYCT Subway and Bus networks.
Proficiency in Business Administration.
Ability to work independently and effectively.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Apps; Database, Reports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
