Compensation:
Salary Range
Technical Support Aide IA: $42,765 -$52,668 (Represented by TWU)
Technical Support Aide IB: $46,095 - $59,715 (Represented by TWU)
Technical Support Aide II: $51,068 - $71,937 (Represented by TWU)
Technical Support Aide III: $56,149-$76,648 (Represented by TWU)
Responsibilities:
- Under General Supervision, with latitude for the exercise of independent initiative and judgment, process caseload of Tort Lawsuits and claims for payment.
- Maintains files of relevant data and documentation of all cases. This includes a review of the file and appropriate legal documents, and/or outside agencies and the preparation of payment to the Business Service Center (BSC).
- Monitor the movement of the case and coordinate the flow of legal documents through all stages of payment.
- Performs all other clerical and administrative tasks and requested by the manager.
Education and Experience:
- Graduate from a senior high school or evidence of having passed an examination for a high school equivalency diploma and one (1) year of satisfactory full-time, paid clerical experience; or
- A satisfactory equivalent
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with various legal documents pertaining to Tort matters.
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook
- Ability to process meticulous large volumes of work.
- Excellent oral and written communication Skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management and outside agencies and attorneys.
