Compensation:
Salary Range (Grade C/677): $100,700- $142,929.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for coordinating the planning, development, and design review process, as well as, providing construction oversight and support for the Second Avenue Subway Program and Projects (Phase 1 & 2) currently with a budget exceeding $1OB and other integrated capital projects, which involve coordinating with other state and/or city agencies. Serves as the principal point of contact with C&D Procurement, Ops Planning, OSS, and Security, providing direction to C&D. Work with representatives from DOS operating divisions for new construction in Manhattan for the Second Avenue Subway line, as well as other integrated capital projects . Oversees system maintainability issues and ensures that code compliance is met. Manages TAL budget. Provides all requested documentation as project analysis in support of the projects. Oversees testing and commissioning and project acceptance. Performs oversight duties for other projects in the absence of the Assistant Chief Officer.
Education and Experience:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution in business administration, economics, architecture, engineering, or a related field. Nine (9) years of related experience and six (6) years must have been in a managerial or supervisory capacity; or a satisfactory equivalent of education and experience.

Knowledge of NYCT Capital Program. Familiarity with project development and oversight of design/construction tasks. Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with operations practices. Prior experience with design and construction of mega projects. Strong analytical skills. Well versed in engineering principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of financial analysis. Strong computer skills.

All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
