Compensation:
Salary Range for Senior Director Job Selection Programs:
$109,876 - $173,675
(Grade B)
Responsibilities:
The Senior Director is responsible for operational support and administration for the design and implementation of all Subways job selection programs including picks, bids, mini-picks and job selections. Responsibilities include working closely with Subways operational and administrative management, labor unions, office of management and budget, human resources, payroll and the BSC in order to ensure that all Subways job selection processes are efficiently and effectively administered. Analyzes and researches best industrial practices for designing, implementing, and monitoring administrative processes.
Education and Experience:
A baccalaureate degree in transportation management, public administration or human resources and ten (10) years of full-time experience of which five (5) years must have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity; OR a satisfactory combination of education and experience.
Desired Skills:
A thorough knowledge of NYCT and Subways Operations and procedures. Excellent problem solving, analytical and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to restructure processes where necessary. Excellent oral and written communication skills. A master's degree is preferred.
Selection Method:
Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.
All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
