Compensation
Salary Range: $95,385 - $141,539 (Grade C - 732 hay points)
UTLO rate: $135,500
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for directing all maintenance activities at a given New York City Transit or MTA Bus location. Accountable for supplying safe and reliable buses to allow for the daily delivery of reliable bus service for the riding public. This involves assisting in the developing, implementing and maintaining of strict budgets, managing a full-scale disciplinary and labor relations process and directing managers and supervisors to accomplish depot/division goals. Assist in the directing of the day-to-day facilities and equipment maintenance activities for the mega-depot. 

NOTE: A mega depot is defined as having at least 250 buses. 
Education and Experience
1. Seven (7) years of related experience, at least three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
2. Must have one (1) year of previous experience in the title of Superintendent or an equivalent title: or
2. A satisfactory equivalent of the combined education and experience requirements
Desired Skills

1. The ability to manage a large operation.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of Bus maintenance operations including preventative maintenance and equipment specifications.
3. Knowledge of policy development, personnel development, contract administration and labor relations.
4. The ability to analyze information, assess its reliability and make related operational decisions.
5. Strong delegation and prioritization skills.
6. The ability to make decisions rapidly and under pressure while being constrained by the availability of labor and equipment.
