Job Title:Request for Consideration Police Officer, Administration

Dept/Div:MTA Police Department

Supervisor:Commanding Officer, Resource Management Division

Location:420 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10170

Schedule: Four (4) tours of ten hours and 16 minutes, with three (3) consecutive rest days

Summary:

The MTA Police Department is seeking qualified members from the rank of Police Officer who are interested in being considered for an assignment of Police Officer, Administration.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintenance of Departmental Records.
  • Assisting with the collection of documentation and preparation of response to legal request for information.
  • Preparation, coordination, and polling of overtime.
  • Maintaining and publishing updates to the 30-day book.
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of Departmental Orders.
  • Filing and archiving departmental documents.

Qualifications:

Qualified Police Officers must, at a minimum, have the following qualifications/requirements to be considered for appointment.

  • Candidate must have completed their probationary period
  • Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong writing ability

Other Information

Interested employees who meet the above-listed qualifications will be invited to participate in a panel interview.
