Compensation:    

Salary Range (Grade D/594): $88,539(min) $114,244(mid) $139,949(max)     

UTLO Rate: $131,500    

     

Responsibilities:    

This position is accountable, as designated, for planning, organizing, directing units, and managing personnel in activities related to the maintenance and construction of Infrastructure assets within The Division of Facilities subdivision's which consist of: Stationary Engineers, Heating & Air Conditioning, & HPPT. Manage contracts, projects in subways, yards, and structures. 0versee subordinates and perform duties that may include developing cost estimates, providing necessary inspection, maintenance, repair, and/or construction activities to ensure that Infrastructure assets are safe, cost effective and reliable. Assume the duties and responsibilities of the General Superintendent in his/her absence.    

     

Education and Experience:    

A bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, or a Satisfactory Equivalent. Six (6) years of full-time related experience and four (4) years must have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity; or    

A satisfactory combination of education and experience.    

     

Desired Skills:    

  • Strong Knowledge of MTA NYCT rules and regulations
  • Strong Maintenance and Operating experience
  • Knowledge of construction trade, project management and maintenance management techniques
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in EAM/Infor, Microsoft Outlook 365 applications

Selection Method:    

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.    

     

All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
