Compensation:
Salary Range (Grade F/479): $81,780 (Min) - $116,074 (Max)
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible overseeing and developing Capital Construction estimates and schedules; negotiate with C&D estimators to dispute and justify labor rates, productivity, and material costs. Develop program to provide ongoing training for scope development, take offs and estimates. Audit and review ongoing construction to determine earned value of actual work versus completed work and issue findings to validate or dispute Project budgets. In addition, provide data for Construction Tracking program that tracks production and accomplished construction tasks derived from negotiated estimates. Develop and compile a Master Database of construction activities. Prepare and negotiate Additional Work Orders for budget and schedule adjustments.
Education and Experience:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and five (5) years of satisfactory experience, and two (2) years of experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity, OR
A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.
