Compensation:
Salary Range: $64,608 - $68,034
Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible for assisting the Car System Engineering staff with their duties, which includes conducting engineering analyses, reviewing and developing drawings, prototyping and testing components, implementing design modifications, witnessing testing at vendor sites, approving or disapproving performance test requirements, scheduling and monitoring performance tests, troubleshooting issues, analyzing and compiling comprehensive reports on test results and failure analyses, and developing equipment performance specifications, quality standards, work scope, manuals, and test procedures. The position will also collaborate closely with Maintenance and Overhaul facilities, as well as external departments such as Procurement and Systems Safety. Adding this position will help maintain operational excellence, foster innovation within our organization and be invaluable to the team's efforts to uphold the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.
Education and Experience:
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major sequence of courses in electrical, mechanical, civil, transportation or computer engineering or electrical/electronic technology.
