Staff Analyst I TA: $63,310 - $74,950 (Rep- OSA) (New Hire Rate: $55,049)
Staff Analyst I OA $65,003 - $76,955 (Rep- TWU)
Staff Analyst II TA: $73,510 - $81,871 (New Hire Rate: $63,923)
Staff Analyst II OA: $75,475 - $84,060 (Rep- TWU)
Associate Staff Analyst TA: $83,098 - $107,591 (Rep.- OSA) (New Hire Rate: $72,258)
Associate Staff Analyst OA: $85,316 - $110,468 (Rep. -TWU)
TA CANDIDATES MUST BE PERMANENT IN THE CIVIL SERVICE STAFF ANALYST TRAINEE TITLE TO BE CONSIDERED.
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for the registration of funding in the Capital Accounting & Payments System (CAPS), review and processing of capital funded invoices/charges, transmission of Capital vouchers to MTA BSC for payment/reimbursement, and/or investigation and reconciliation of capital related expenditure discrepancies across all MTA systems.
Education and Experience:
Associate Staff Analyst
1. A Master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and one (1) year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management or in a related area; or
2. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three (3) years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in 1 above.
Staff Analyst I & Staff Analyst II
1. A Master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field; or
2. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two (2) years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in one or a combination of the following areas: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relation, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, or fiscal management; or in a related area.
Special Note:
To be eligible for placement in Assignment Level II, individuals must have, after meeting the minimum requirements, one additional year of professional experience as described in "2" above.
Desired Skills:
