RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for managing a unit within the Bus Service Planning Division. The Senior Director supervises and coordinates the development, evaluation, recommendation, and advancement of the bus network redesigns and other high profile special projects. Responsible for ensuring this once in a generation opportunity to remake the bus system truly reflects the needs of New York City. In addition, the holder of this position makes sure that the MTA is on the cutting edge when it comes to equality, sustainability, and other overreaching missions. Supervises on-going efforts to improve service performance through operational design.
COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $104,077 - $154,437 (HAY 775 Grade B)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education Degree Required: Baccalaureate Major Field of Study: Transportation Management Economics Systems Analysis Engineering or a satisfactory equivalent Other: Urban Planning. Total Number of Years Experience ten (10) with six (6) of Managerial/Supervisory Experience
