COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $ 77,463 - $114,945 (Grade F)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will coordinate the engineering technical areas for current and upcoming projects. Will be responsible for providing engineering expertise and supervision for Environmental technical areas. Will review and approve the Capital Projects and Capital Program documents. The incumbent will investigate, review, and monitor the activities of Outside Projects affecting railroad operations. Will also provide direction and guidance to SIR concerning hazardous materials and compliance with NYCT, state, and federal regulations. Directs contractors and NYCT personnel concerning SIR work. Prepares reports and recommends actions concerning Engineering and Capital Planning. Will coordinate reviews of documents and submittals throughout the SIR department and site visits, access, and service requests from contractors and outside parties.

All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
