Compensation
Maintenance Supervisor II - Salary Range:
Step 1 – Entrance $110,381
Step 2 - 7 Months $111,951
Step 3 - 3rd Year $115,888
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the manager, with latitude for independent action, the incumbent will monitor specific aspects of the Field Operations Unit, including, but not limited to:
Coordinating and conducting field investigations, inspections, and security measures to reduce the number of trespassers in the system, reduce subway fires, reduce crime, and reduce train delays.
Surveying and visually inspecting all abandoned rooms, tunnels, emergency exits, maintenance holes, and broad areas between subway station platforms, with particular attention to areas that attract trespassers.
We are working with the various Divisions and Departments on the appropriate method to secure and maintain these areas free of debris.
We are maintaining records of inspections and performing other duties as required.
Meet with various NYPD Transit Bureau Districts and MTA-PD as required.
Education and Experience:
Current Maintenance Supervisors are eligible to apply.
