Responsibilities:
MTA, New York City Transit (NYCT), Department of Security is looking for talented, ambitious and team- oriented candidates to join in the Evasion and Graffiti Lawlessness Eradication (EAGLE) Team fulfill its core function of moving passengers by protecting the assets of the agency and providing a secure environment for all who work in, visit or use the New York City Transit System.
These individuals often work as a team and take turns driving a NYC Transit vehicle. The mission of the Fare Enforcement Unit is to ensure the correct and timely payment of fare by customers using NYCT buses respond to fare evasion activities on designated routes of the MTA NYCT system. The mission of Vandalism Squad is to protect and prevent incidents of graffiti vandalism in train yards, lay-up areas, bus depots, parking areas other facilities of NYCT which could be exploited by criminals or terrorists.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The selected candidates will be required to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays and weekends and as well as working outdoors in all weather conditions. In addition, incumbents will be required to work in bus depots, train yards, subway tunnels and at other Agency facilities. Candidates must have two years of full-time experience as an investigator, of which one year must have been as an investigator in the field.

All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MaBSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
