This position is open to all current Maintenance Supervisor I and Maintenance Supervisor IIs (Telephones)
The selected candidate will be responsible for supervisory oversight to Level I Supervisors within the EMD Telecommunications Maintenance group, to ensure safe and efficient 24X7 operations. The incumbent will also be required to work Incident Desk Coordinator coverage when scheduled. The incumbent will also keep maintenance records, prepare reports and manage the preventative and remedial maintenance inspection work of telecommunications maintenance group assets; and must ensure that all NYCT safety procedures are discussed, distributed and followed. The incumbent must be able to work flexible/variable hours and at required locations.
